Bendigo Racecourse, White Hills.
Centre State Rodders
is based in Bendigo,Central Victoria
Our clubrooms are located at the Bendigo Airport, Victa Road
Our monthly meetings are held at the clubrooms on the first Tuesday of the month starting at 7.30. Our club is a non profit club that holds two major events each year,
the Centre State Swap Meet and the Fathers Day Show and Shine.
We are proud to support many local community organisations through donations raised from our major events. These organisations include, the local branch of the State Emergency Service (SES), Bendigo Hospital raise the roof appeal, St Lukes Anglicare, as well as many smaller local sporting groups. We also run many other smaller events that are advertised through this website in the events section. The events page is updated regularly to give you up to date information about what is happening with Centre State Rodders. The site is a place to advertise many of our events as well as give you a chance to see some photos from our previous events.
The club was formed in 1995 by Geoffrey Berry. There were many discussions held around his kitchen table and many beverages consumed as the idea became a reality. The five original members worked hard to get the club established in the Rodding Scene attending numerous Rod Runs held by other clubs and held numerous events including Rock n Roll Dances to raise funds to launch the new club.
The club has come a long way since its beginnings. In 2002 the club hosted the Australian Street Rod State Run.
The Centre State Swap Meet is one of Central Victoria’s biggest one day swap meets. Each year it continues to grow and improve. It is held on a Sunday usually the closest to the Australia Day Long Weekend in January.
We also present The Fathers Day Show and Shine obviously on the first Sunday in September. This event also continues to grow and is now held at and around our clubhouse at the Bendigo Airport.
